A 25 year old single malt from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, bottled by John Crabbie & Co. at 46.6% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in sherry casks, and 988 bottles were produced.
The notes describe a nose of juicy raisins, dark chocolate and a hint of spice and smoke. On the palate come lightly roasted chestnuts and rich spiced fruitcake, with a slight tang of smoke and spice alongside the sweetness. The finish is rich and powerful, very long, light, sweet and smoky.
