Craigellachie – 13 Year Old Bas-Armagnac Cask Finish (46%)

Craigellachie 13 Year Old Bas-Armagnac Cask Finish is the first release in the distillery's Cask Finishing Collection, which nods to its traditional worm tubs. Casks were sourced from makers of oak-aged spirits who also use worm tubs. The whisky matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, then spent just over a year in casks that held Bas-Armagnac from the northernmost part of Gascony, France. The finish adds roundness to the robust Craigellachie character. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and without caramel colouring.
