Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, distilled at the Craigellachie distillery and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is known for oily, smoky flavours with oak and pie notes.
The nose brings apple orchards in bloom, a slightly meaty edge, burnt popcorn and treacle tart. Oily malt arrives first on the palate, followed by barbecued pineapple, summer berries, pine nuts and almonds.
The finish has a very soft hint of sulphur behind biscuit and apple.
