Craigellachie 19 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured in two stages: first in mixed casks, then in a split between first-fill sherry and bourbon casks. It has a pronounced biscuity sweetness and a pineapple note that stands out.
The nose is intense, with pineapple chunks in syrup, spice and richness, backed by a sulphury edge. The palate has a sweet biscuity base with a hint of smoke.
