This is a 24 year old Craigellachie from the Speyside distillery, distilled in 1992 and released in the Exceptional Cask Series as batch CR2592. It is a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The whisky was aged in an ex-sherry cask and is non-chill-filtered. Just 1212 bottles were filled.
The nose is cream vanilla with a syrupy quality and pineapple chunks. On the palate it brings roasted rosemary and sweet almonds, and it finishes with dark oak, hazelnuts and almonds.
