Craigellachie – 1992 24 Year Old Exceptional Cask Series Batch CR2592 (70cl, 46%)

Craigellachie 1992 24 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Exceptional Cask Series, matured in an ex-sherry cask and bottled as batch CR 2592. It was distilled on 25 September 1992 and is bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtering, in an outturn of 1212 bottles. The nose is creamy vanilla, syrupy notes and pineapple chunks. On the palate come roasted rosemary and sweet almonds, and the finish is balanced and elegant, with dark oak, hazelnuts and almonds.
