Craigellachie 23 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 75cl bottle at 46% ABV. It matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, which bring vanilla, toffee and fudge, and first-fill ex-Sherry casks, which add richness and complexity.
It is non-chill filtered and has no caramel colouring. The distillery's character is robust and muscular, with a hint of pineapple.
On the palate, vanilla is joined by spices and menthol notes, and charred pineapple becomes more intense.
