Craigellachie – 23 Years Old (75cl, 46%)

Craigellachie 23 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no caramel colouring. The whisky matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, which bring vanilla, toffee and fudge, and first-fill ex-sherry casks, which add richness and complexity. Craigellachie is known as a robust, muscular whisky with a hint of pineapple. At this age the vanilla moves onto the palate, spice and menthol notes emerge, and the charred pineapple becomes more pronounced.
