This is a 7 year old 2014 Craigellachie, bottled by Signatory Vintage at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Craigellachie is a Speyside distillery founded in 1890 and renovated in 1964.
It belongs to the Very Cloudy range, which is bottled from small batches of two to five casks. The whisky is reduced to strength without cold filtration or colouring, which gives it a slightly cloudy appearance.
The aromas are baked apples, malted barley, bourbon vanilla and a hint of exotic fruits.
