Crown Royal Fine De Luxe is a Canadian whisky in a 75cl bottle, blended from over 50 whiskies and aged in oak barrels. It was first made in 1939 to mark the tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
The nose is typically described as vanilla, toasted oak and dark caramel, with a little ripe orchard fruit. The palate is soft and creamy, with caramel and brown sugar, then toasted oak, vanilla cream and a very mild rye spice. The finish is long, fading to soft oak, gentle sweetness and vanilla.
