A Canadian blended rye whisky from Crown Royal, made at the Crown Royal Distillery in Gimli, Manitoba, on the shore of Lake Winnipeg. Rye makes up 90% of the blend, and it is bottled at 45% in a one-litre bottle.
The nose is spicy rye grain with vanilla and oak, plus a hint of exotic spice. The palate is soft and round, with vanilla, butterscotch and toffee alongside pepper and nutmeg. The finish is long, lightly sweet and spicy.
