Currach Atlantic Wakame Seaweed Cask is a triple-distilled Irish single malt made from 100% malted Irish barley. It was first matured in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in charred American oak casks linked to Atlantic wakame seaweed. It is bottled at 50.1% in a 70cl bottle.
Pepper and oak spice come through on the palate, together with butterscotch. The finish is elegantly sweet and sour, with a little liquorice and plenty of umami.
