Curraghmore Single Estate Irish Whiskey

Curraghmore Single Estate is a single pot still Irish whiskey made from barley and oats grown on the Curraghmore Estate in County Waterford. It was triple distilled at Great Northern Distillery. The spirit was matured separately in virgin French oak, ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks, then married together. This inaugural release was limited to 1,375 bottles. The nose is honeyed malt and orchard fruit, opening into vanilla, toasted oak and gentle spice. The palate is smooth and creamy with vanilla, ripe pear and caramel, then citrus zest and warming oak spice. The finish is long, with caramel, spice and oak.
