Dad's Hat – Honey Cask Finished Rye

Dad's Hat Honey Cask Finished Rye is a rye whiskey finished in used Dad's Hat casks that local farmers have first used to age their honey. The finish adds a subtle honey sweetness and a full mouthfeel. The whiskey is a deep reddish-brown. The nose is rich with orange, cinnamon, pepper and vanilla, and it develops as it opens. The palate opens with spice and moves to dryness in the middle, ending on a delicate note of sweet vermouth.
