Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Straight Rye Whiskey is a bottled in bond rye in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). It is made in the Pre-Prohibition Pennsylvania style.
The whiskey matured for 5 years in barrels made with 3-year-old air-dried white oak, which gave rich, concentrated flavours from the wood.
The nose is described as sweet grain, cut grass, minty herbs and vanilla caramel. The palate is richly balanced, with very little heat for its strength.
