Daftmill 15 Year Old Fife Strength is a Lowland single malt bottled at 56.3%. It is the third 15 year old batch from Francis Cuthbert, and differs from the earlier ones by including a cask of PX sherry.
The nose is sweet and tropical with a rich sweetness behind it. The palate shows barley sugar and malt, and the finish lifts into sweet dark fruit, a sign of the sherry in the mix. The whisky is deep, complex and long.
