This Daftmill is a Lowland single malt, matured for 15 years in a cask filled in 2007 and bottled in 2023 at 56.3% ABV, which is labelled Fife Strength. It is a UK exclusive bottling.
The nose is herbal and rich, with biscuity sweetness, grassy olive oil and chamois leather. The palate is grassy and waxy, with shilling ale, barley extract, mineral oils, wood spice, toffee apple and herbs. The finish is of good length, with pine sap, bay leaf and olive oil.
