Daftmill – 2007 Asia Release 2020 (70cl, 46%)

This Lowland single malt from Daftmill was distilled on 10 December 2007 and released in 2020 as the Asia Release. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle and was matured in first fill bourbon casks. Daftmill is the Cuthbert family's farm in Fife, where barley, beef cattle, potatoes, carrots and broccoli share the land with the distillery. Only their own barley is used, in small quantities that can come to no more than 100 casks a year, and distilling is done in June, July and the winter months when the fields are quiet. Their first single malt appeared in 2018, following more than twelve years of waiting.
