Daftmill – 2010 Summer Batch Release (70cl, 46%)

A Lowland single malt from Daftmill, distilled in the summer of 2010 and bottled in 2021 at 46%. It is a vatting of 25 first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, filling 6,250 bottles. The release uses Optic barley, a variety grown on the distillery's land since the 1980s, though in the intervening years it was pushed aside in favour of more indigenous barley.
