Daftmill Single Farm 2010 Summer Batch Release is a limited edition Lowland single malt from the Cuthbert family farm in Fife, where Francis Cuthbert runs the distillery. It was distilled in 2010 from barley grown on the farm and bottled in summer 2023 at 46%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon casks and refill barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers orchard fruits, lemon zest and malted barley with vanilla cream and soft oak. The palate is green apple, honey and cereal sweetness with gentle spice and citrus. The finish is long and clean, with barley, fruit and soft vanilla.
