Dalmore – 15 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Dalmore, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and finished in aged oloroso sherry casks, with the wood split evenly between bourbon and oloroso. The whisky is a deep, golden mahogany in colour. The nose brings orange marmalade and aromatic spices. On the palate it is rich and elegant, with concentrated citrus and oloroso sherry alongside hints of vanilla pod, followed by a complex aftertaste.
