A Highland single malt from Dalmore, aged for 18 years and bottled at 43%. The distillery is said to have been founded in 1839. The Mackenzie family took it over in 1867, and it has belonged to Whyte & Mackay since 1960. The bottle carries the stag taken from the Mackenzie coat of arms. On the nose it is vanilla and dark chocolate with orange and cinnamon. The palate adds candied citrus, coffee, nutmeg and soft liquorice, and the finish is full and citrus-led.
