Dalmunach – 10 Year Old Bourbon Barrel with First Fill ex-Oloroso Barrel Finish #9 (63.6%)

This is a 10 year old Dalmunach from the Lady of the Glen series, cask number 9, with 226 bottles filled. Dalmunach is one of Speyside's newest distilleries, built in 2015 on the site of the former Imperial Distillery. It was distilled on 17 February 2016 and bottled exactly ten years later. The spirit began in an ex-bourbon barrel and was re-racked into a first fill ex-Oloroso barrel for the final seven years. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 63.6% abv, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring. On the palate, expect raisins and dates, honeyed cereal notes and red apple skin.
