This is a 7 year old Highland single malt from Dalmunach, bottled by independent bottler Dram Mor in a 70cl bottle at 58.4% ABV. It was distilled in 2016 and matured in a single first-fill Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel, which gave 254 bottles.
The nose is described as sweet vanilla and caramel toffee with cereal, pear drops, caramelised pecans, a little toasted coconut and a hint of fresh menthol. The palate is honeyed and buttery with liquorice, gentian and green tobacco leaf, and the finish is tingling and spicy, with drying vanilla and Szechuan pepper.
