This is a 10 year old Scotch single malt from Dalrymple, in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 59.3% ABV. The name Tri Carragh refers to its maturation in three different cask types. It is bottled without chill-filtering and with natural colour.
The nose is vanilla, ripe apple, dried fruit and honey, with caramel, orange peel, cinnamon and toasted oak. The palate is full and powerful, with toffee, ripe peach, dark cherries and malt, then chocolate, spice and dried fruit, and a creamy texture. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, oak, cocoa, warm spice and a gentle sweetness.
