Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 1 litre bottle, matured for a minimum of 15 years in ex-bourbon casks. It is described as soft and silky, with a complex but balanced structure. The distillery was founded in 1897 and takes its name from a Gaelic phrase meaning meeting place. Its water comes from a spring that runs underground to the stream beside the distillery, which sits among the highest in Scotland. The nose is soft, and the palate is sweet and fruity.
