Deanston 15 Year Old Tequila Cask Finish is a limited-edition Highland single malt, bottled at 52.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent 13 years in oak hogsheads before a 24-month finish in casks that previously held 100% blue agave tequila from the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico.
The nose has ripe pineapple, crème brûlée, mixed nuts and light oak. The palate is rich and dry, with caramelised agave, toasted almonds, baked apples with custard and warming spices. The finish is long, with brown spice and bursts of sweet citrus.
