Deanston 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for fifteen years in bourbon casks, then finished in casks that once held tequila. It is bottled at 52.5% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The tequila finish is what sets it apart. The nose shows ripe mango, citrus zest and agave alongside vanilla and honey.
On the palate it is soft and full, with pineapple, lime, creamy vanilla, toffee and light oak spice. The finish is long and warm, with fruity sweetness and gentle wood spice.
