Deerstalker Highland Edition Blended Malt (43%)

Deerstalker Highland Edition is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43%. It was launched in 2015 and draws its malts from Highland distilleries, which are blended and then matured in casks. The Deerstalker name was registered as a trademark in 1880 by J. G. Thompson, an Edinburgh wine and spirits merchant. The nose is of fresh barley, earth, vanilla and heather smoke. The palate is fairly simple, with a little oak and oils softening it into a creamy, barley-led taste. The finish is long, with barley, gentle heather and malt.
