Dewar's 12 Years Old is a blended Scotch whisky at 40% ABV, made from malt and grain whiskies. After their first maturation the whiskies are married together for a further period of ageing, a step known as double ageing.
On the nose there is honey, ripe apple, vanilla and heather flowers, with light oak. The palate is soft and creamy, with caramel, honey, citrus, dried fruit and a gentle spiciness. The finish is medium in length, with vanilla, soft spice and a touch of oak.
