Dingle Single Malt is a triple distilled Irish single malt from Dingle Distillery, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose is creamy and mellow, with vanilla, dark chocolate, sherried dried fruit, anise, clove and nutmeg, alongside toffee, apple pie, toasted almonds, lime zest, mint and marzipan. The palate adds caramel, orange chocolate, raisins, espresso, apricot and black pepper, with rhubarb crumble, acacia honey and leather underneath. The finish brings rhubarb and custard sweets, sticky toffee pudding, a little more lime and dried fruit.
