Dingle – Single Pot Still Batch 4 (70cl, 46.5%)

Dingle Single Pot Still Batch 4 is the fourth small batch release of single pot still whiskey from the Dingle distillery. It is triple distilled and bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. The whiskey was matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso casks. Dark fruits and figs come first, followed by dark chocolate and roasted chopped nuts, with soft wood and leather spice leading into a long finish. On the nose there are nuts, flowers, salt, honey, roasted coffee beans and sherry spice. The palate brings dark chocolate, honey, tart white grape and milk chocolate, and the finish has raisins, hazelnuts and oloroso sherry.
