Dingle Single Pot Still is an Irish whiskey from the County Kerry distillery, made from malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill-filtering.
The vatting is 59% bourbon casks, 33% Oloroso sherry casks, 4% Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and 4% red wine casks.
The nose brings crumbly wholemeal biscuits, ripe pear, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. The palate is silky and full, with brown sugar, dark fruit, stewed apple and caramel. The finish is long, honeyed and spicy, with toasted oak and a floral note.
