Dingle Single Pot Still is part of the core range from Dingle Distillery in Ireland. It is distilled from both malted and unmalted barley and bottled at 46.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matures in a combination of bourbon, Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez and red wine casks.
The nose is soft, with fruit and honey alongside cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The palate has a creamy texture, with stewed dark fruit, vanilla, tarte tatin and caramel, and spice and oak arriving later. The finish is of medium length, with burnt sugar, dryness and a spicy emphasis.
