Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Garryana Straight Bourbon

Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Garryana is a straight bourbon built around Oregon oak, Quercus Garryana, a species that grows along the Pacific Coast from Northern California to Southern British Columbia and close to the distillery itself. Master Blender Jesse Parker has worked with new oak species, and here the brand's whiskeys meet barrels of this local wood. The result is described as deep, dark and complex, with notes of molasses, toffee, clove, Italian plum and wood smoke.
