Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Tawny Port is a straight bourbon made from a blend of two bourbons, each aged five years. It is finished in casks that spent many years holding tawny port in Portugal before crossing the Atlantic.
It is one of three fortified wine cask finishes in the Exploratory range, released for summer 2022.
The whiskey is a rich amber in the glass. The nose offers wild red berries, drizzled caramel and a rich nuttiness.
