Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year Old 2026 Release Bourbon (75cl, 50.5%)

This is a 20 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, the 2026 release of Double Eagle Very Rare. It is bottled at 50.5% ABV (101 proof) in a 750ml bottle, a strength that pays tribute to the original proof of Eagle Rare when it first appeared in 1975. It comes in a hand-crafted crystal decanter with two sculpted crystal eagles, one suspended inside the bottle and one forming the stopper, in a silver display case with a numbered letter of authenticity. The nose offers vanilla and caramel with mature oak and dark fruit. The palate is smooth, with caramel sweetness and toasted oak. The finish is long, with oak, vanilla and warming spice.
