Douglas Laing Double Barrel Speyside & Lowland (70cl, 47%)

Double Barrel from Douglas Laing is a blend of two single malts, one from the Lowlands and one from Speyside. It is bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. It is a small batch vatting of two selected barrels, pairing the sweetness of Speyside with the finesse of the Lowlands. The nose has soft vanilla, fresh citrus, light honey and gentle wood spice. The palate is creamy, with malt, baked apple, light spice and a soft sweetness. The finish is medium to long, with floral notes and a subtle, spicy warmth.
