This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Provenance range at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in May 2011 and bottled in September 2021, from a single refill butt that gave 857 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The refill cask lets the robust malt character of Benrinnes come through. The nose has seeded brown bread and baked apple cake with floral blossom and fresh toasted oak. The palate brings spiced biscuits with ginger and cinnamon, roasted malt and sweet citrus zest. The finish combines oaky vanilla and stewed raisins with floral orange, caramel and a touch of pepper.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
