Douglas Laing's Scallywag 18 Speyside Blended Malt Pedro Ximenez Finish

Scallywag 18 is a blended malt from Douglas Laing's, made with Speyside whisky. It is an independent bottling from Scotland. The whisky has been finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, which gives this blend its sweet, dark-fruited direction. On the nose it is described as dark chocolate truffle, spicy orange peel and roasted walnuts. The palate brings toffee and black cherries with a touch of cinnamon.
