This is a limited edition Lowland blended malt Scotch from Douglas Laing, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range. The floral Lowland malts are finished in Calvados casks, bringing in the orchard character of the apple brandy from Normandy in northern France. The Epicurean is described as a fresh, zesty and grassy marriage of Lowland malts, with a vibrant, citrusy flavour profile. Its character is a 1930s Glasgow man, a cheerful soul and connoisseur of food and drink.
