Douglas Laing's Timorous Beastie Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Timorous Beastie is a small batch blended malt from Douglas Laing, bottled at 46% ABV in a 700ml bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The blend is made from selected, aged Highland malts, including whisky distilled at Glen Garioch, Dalmore and Glengoyne. The nose is sweet at first, then turns floral, with light barley and spicy, honeyed tones. The palate opens with spice, raisin and a sugary, fudgy character. The finish is subtle and sweet, with oak, hints of milky cereal and late meringue.
