Drookit Dug Final Batch 2016 10 Year Old Blended Whisky (45.1%)

A 10 year old blended Scotch whisky from Little Brown Dog, distilled on 24 March 2016 and bottled on 21 July 2026 at 45.1%. It is one of 800 bottles and the final batch of this vatting. The casks were chosen because the angels' share ran higher than expected, and they were part of batch 2 of Drookit Dug. The blend is mostly Highland malts with some very old grain whiskies. It has since matured further in second and third fill hogsheads, which add little wood influence. The nose offers muscat grapes, toasted brioche and pineapple core. The palate brings butter-fried toast, cookie dough and beeswax, and the finish has condensed milk, candyfloss and runny honey.
