This is a limited edition from Duvel Moortgat, a Belgian single spirit distilled in 2011 and matured for ten years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. It brings the finesse of a whisky together with Duvel's brewing background. The nose is soft and warm, with ripe stone fruit, vanilla, honey and a hint of spice. On the palate come caramel, light oak, dried fruit and a gentle sherry sweetness, leading to a clean, elegant finish.
