Maredsous Single Malt Whisky comes from Maredsous Abbey in the Belgian Ardennes. It is made from a unique distillate of organic certified malts.
The whisky is aged in bourbon barrels and then finished in oak barrels that previously held white wine. This gives a pleasantly woody softness and roundness, with wine and herbs as the dominant tastes.
