Dzama 5 Year Old Cognac Finish

Dzama Cognac Finish is a five-year-old agricole rum from Madagascar, finished in former Cognac casks. The brand began on the island of Nosy Be, in the north-west of the country. The finish adds roundness and depth without overpowering the rum's fruity, rich character. Ripe fruit meets vanilla, spice and wood, with hints of dried fruit and Charentais brandy. On the palate, ripe and candied fruit come first, quickly joined by vanilla and spice. The wood grows more present and dried fruit follows. The finish stays warm and gourmand.
