Eagle Rare is a ten-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose it is lightly sweet, with oak, honey and toffee alongside orange peel and tobacco. The body is full and oily, carrying apple, almond, coconut, grapefruit and raisin.
The finish is intense, spicy and long, with a faint reminder of port.
