Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, matured for ten years. This bottle holds 1.75 litres and is bottled at 45% ABV.
The back label carries the name Joe C., which Buffalo Trace uses as a tribute to Joseph Congiusti, a Chicago whiskey buyer.
The nose brings toffee, orange peel, honey, herbs, leather and oak. On the palate there are candied almonds and rich cocoa, followed by a dry, lingering finish.
