Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with no added colour.
The bourbon spends ten years in new American white oak casks, which give it a dark amber colour.
On the nose there is honey, toffee and orange peel, with spicy tobacco and light oak. The palate brings ripe apple, raisin and citrus alongside coconut, almond and creamy vanilla. The finish is long, with spicy oak, dried fruit and a gentle sweetness.
