A Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, aged for a minimum of 12 years and bottled at 47.5% ABV (95 proof). Released in June 2025, it is a small-batch blend of select barrels rather than a single-barrel bottling. It uses the distillery's low-rye Mashbill #1 and matured in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose offers toasted vanilla, honey, almond, light leather, maple and a faint cherry sweetness. The palate starts with caramel, then dried fruit, toffee, brown sugar, black pepper and baking spice, with maraschino cherry and cherry-vanilla cola. The finish is long and warming, with oak spice and toasted caramel.
